How to be at peace with yourself in spite of all the failures, heartbreaks, shortcomings, weaknesses and problems and to be happy. Isn’t the peace which we all crave for peace of mind. But the moment we accept them, they stop bothering us, we become comfortable with it and are more at peace. When we run away from our problems, our shortcomings, our weaknesses, our failures it bother us. It became clear to me that this is what the author was trying to convey. The moment I accepted the ‘f’ word, it stop bothering me and after a while it completely vanished from the book only making the occasional guest appearance. Enlightening MomentĪnd the bingo moment came. I almost give up the book when I decided to accept it and then I started reading the book. I started avoiding it, overlooking it, denying it, rejecting it, skipping it. In the first chapter, the author has used the ‘f’ word in every second line. But you just have to hang on and hang on a little longer and the book will make sense, as it did to me. You could find the book irritating and peeve, as to me, especially the first chapter where the liberal use of cuss word was putting me off every now and then. I find many concepts in the book to be radical, but practical and some other re-packaged and represented in a more forceful way to leave a lasting impact. The book tears apart the very concept of feel good and positivity on which most of the traditional self help books were based. Can't wait to meet women today with these new eyes. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*** by Mark Manson must have created some flutters among the self help gurus and these self professed life coaches. And you give the reader the tools to strip away all the disguises that other seduction gurus have said we need to wear at all times. I like how spend so much time in the book reinforcing the fact that we are good human beings at our core and it's a matter of presenting ourselves honestly, without apology to everyone we encounter. Many try to make their readers into pickup artists - today I gag at the term. I've been involved with seduction since 2006 and I've consumed a lot dating products. Thank you Mark.- YousifI just finished your book today, Models, and wanted to tell you that your presentation of the subject is far to superior to anything else I've read. Even if I did t read the rest of the book, I already got what I paid for. Everytime I read something in your book I can relate it to some encounter I had with a girl, I w understand why I succeeded at times and failed at ather. I'm only half-way through your book, and it's unbelievable how everything is making so much sense to me. I want to tell you that you're probably one of the few people who really got it figured out. How to develop a genuine and joyful sense of humor. How to discover the beliefs and attitudes that are sabotaging your success with women.
